“An Oral Surgical, Orthodontic, Periodontal, and Pediatric Dental Perspective of the Standard of Care, Indications, Contraindications, Timing, Referrals and Outcomes"
The management of impacted and unerupted teeth in the developing child and adolescent in pediatric dental practices presents the question of diagnosis, timing for referral, and the need for interdisciplinary cooperation between the Pediatric Dentist, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, Orthodontist, and the Periodontist.
This interdisciplinary meeting will include a keynote presentation from Dr. Khaled Abughazaleh, an oral surgeon, on this important topic followed by presentations from two panelists; Dr. Irwin Seidman, pediatric dentist, and Dr. Anthony Eltink, orthodontist. The speakers will discuss standards of care based on their respective specialty organizations, indications, contraindications, timing, referral, and outcomes. These standards come from case discussions of their own experiences. There will be adequate time for audience participation and questions.

The half-day program will begin at 8:00 with a continental breakfast. Lunch will also be included in the $100.00 cost of the program.
